The project will be implemented by Kerala State Rutronics under the Department of Industries. The massive Internet-based computer literacy programme will benefit one crore people.

The e-Kerala project will help to educate students and youth as well as adults on such matters in the special circumstances of COVID-19 and when the online system becomes a part of normal life. Classes on online banking, online marketing, cybersecurity and online education will enable people to use Internet securely. Those from the school level onwards are part of the scheme. The services of teachers in Rutronics’ network will also be made available for this. In addition to online classes, contact classes can be provided as required.
