Dubai’s Emirates airline is offering complimentary day passes for the airline’s travellers to Expo 2020, which runs from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022. Dubbed the “World’s greatest show”, the global exhibition had been postponed from 2020 owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“If you’re flying with us to Dubai between 1 October 2021 and 31 March 2022, we’re giving you one complimentary Expo 2020 day pass for each person in your booking. Use your ticket to enjoy Expo 2020 on any day you choose. Just passing through? If your connection in Dubai is more than six hours, you can still claim a free Expo 2020 day pass.
To claim your pass, enter the details for each passenger below and we’ll email the tickets to you. If your flight gets changed or cancelled your day pass will no longer be valid, so simply claim a new one by entering your new flight details,” said the airline website.
Every person on the booking between the Expo dates will be able to claim the pass. Transit passengers whose layover in Dubai is more than six hours can also claim a free Expo 2020 day pass.
The pass will provide access to all pavilions, events and live performances, which will be over 60 items each day.
The complimentary one‑day pass does not have a monetary value and cannot be exchanged for a cash refund.
One-day tickets otherwise cost 95 UAE dirhams per head. Children under the age of 18 and students holding a valid student ID from any academic institution in the world will be given free entry.
Free tickets will also be given to people of determination, while their companion will get a 50 percent discount on tickets. Visitors aged 60 and above can also enter free of charge.
